Notes App has dedicated gestures for certain actions.
Evaluated with screen reader for non-visual accessibility. The visual adjustments and read aloud test results are contained in another evaluation. App is highly accessible with screen reader.
This app has been specially made compatible with Talkback. Users can perform most actions during reading by gestures only, going to menus and dialogs is not necessary. The app has a simple interface. It supports most features of EPUB and DAISY format. Only navigation by internal hyperlinks and lines is not supported by the app. User can navigate the text by paragraphs, words and characters. There is very good support of books with media overlay. .

Reading system activation
The app can be installed from Google Play Store and opened with Talkback.
Opened the test book using File Manager.
The bookshelf view is accessible with Talkback.
Navigate to chapters through the Table of Contents
A dedicated gesture - two finger swipe up has been provided to open the TOC. Items can be selected and activated in the TOC with Talkback. However, reading can be started only from top of destination page or by selecting the desired position by exploring the screen.
Navigate content by pages
The Go to page feature provided in the menu can be used for print page navigation.
Navigate by reflowed page number
Two finger horizontal swipes can be used to move through pages.
Read navigation information
A dedicated gesture - Three finger swipe right to left provides all needed information.
Perform a search, review the search results
A dedicated gesture - Two finger diagonal swipe from bottom right to top left needs to be used to activate the search feature. Note: Talkback focus does not move precisely to the searched term in the book. The Search feature can also be activated from the More Options menu in the Reading screen
Highlights, Notes, and Bookmarks
Add a Bookmark or Highlight
Bookmarks can be added on current page by using the Bookmark button in the top right of the screen.
Review and navigate Bookmarks or Highlights
The Bookmarks can be reviewed and navigated to using the Bookmarks screen which can be opened from the menu (two finger swipe down).
Add a note
Tap and hold to bring up the Add Note button.
Review and navigate Notes
Notes list can be accessed from More Options > Bookmarks and Notes
