Summaries

Short summary

For low vision this system is exceptional. The controls do not enlarge so VoiceOver was necessary to read controls, but VoiceOver and the Read-Aloud feature of Easy Reader do not collide. The font size only goes to 600%.
IOS 11.3.1, ER 1.7

Long summary

Easy Reader is a remarkable tool for reading with low vision. It provides a decent color range, contrast and brightness control, line and letter spacing. The read aloud provides tracking with highlights. Color can be changes for foreground, background, sentence highlights and word highlights.

The controls are too small to see - less than 10pt. Voice over is necessary to operate the controls. However, Voice over and the Easy Reader read-aloud do not conflict. I think this is a good compromise.

The print enlarges to 600% with perfect word wrapping on reflowable epub documents. It can be fun to read with this reader, and you can do real work too.
