Summaries

Short summary

This is a product for people with learning challenges such as dyslexia, so no screen reader tests are envisaged. The test sections completed were: Basic functionality, Navigation, Highlights, notes and bookmarks, Visual Adjustments and Read Aloud.

Long summary

Testing notes include observations from a 17-year-old male with dyslexia who uses other digital reading solutions (Dolphin EasyReader on iPhone 6+ and Edge with Learning Tools on PC).

The lack of support for Table of Contents and other navigation features makes it difficult to recommend this currently as an EPUB reading solution.
Some issues were found with changing colors and fonts, which impacted on the user experience.
The navigation of the main menu by the keyboard is problematical. The left arrow moves to the right through the menu options when a menu is displayed.
The evaluation was completed with keyboard and mouse.
