Notes Evaluated in Google Chrome (70+) using JAWS for Wi
Able to open, navigate and read the EPUB with minimal issues. Unable to navigate by page number, create highlights/notes and create bookmark on specific text.
Overall, excellent experience opening, navigating and reading the EPUB. Heading hierarchy is recognized, alt text is read correctly table mark-up is accessible. Providing a more descriptive label for the sidebar menu and enabling navigation by page number would be welcome improvements. Due to browser-based nater of reading system, known challenges with creating text-specific bookmarks and highlights/notes is recognized. However, the focus management issue with the internal links is concerning.

The reading system can be activated independently
When redeeming the access code, the button to Redeem Code is not labeled.
The book title is identified as a heading level 2 and is easily accessed in the library.
The heading hierarchy on the library page is not hierarcical, jumping from a heading level 1 to a heading level 3.
The table of contents in the app presents the content hierarchy
The TOC is located in the sidebar menu, which is not descriptively labeled. When expanded, the menu is identified as Main Menu. Provide more descriptive label for the sidebar menu trigger element such as Main or Book Controls menu.
Navigate to chapters through the Table of Contents
Selecting the Image Alternate Text Reading link from the TOC places the user focus at the beginning of the Non Visual Reading Tests, not on the Image Alternate Text section. The user has to navigate down to the Image Alternate Text content/section.
Navigate content by pages
Selected to go to page #5 but focus is placed at the beginning of the Basic Fundamental Tests on page 1. Selecting the Next or Previous buttons navigates the user between sections in the EPUB (e.g., Basic Fundamental and Non Visual Tests) but not by page number.

If user navigates by heading (h or shift+h for JAWS), the current location is identified as a heading level 1 This section of content does not have page numbers. Current Section: Non-Visual Reading Tests. Uncertain why there is text stating this section does not have page numbers.
Perform a search, review the search results
Focus is placed on the section of the EPUB but not on the actual search result. Searched for "Moby Dick". Selected the first of the two search results. Focus is placed at the beginning of the Non Visual Tests section, requiring the user to navigate down to the actual search result.
Move across chapters without using TOC
Using Previous and Next buttons moves the user between sections/chapters of the book.
