Summary
Kindle version 7.20 evaluated on an iPhone 11 running iOS 17.5.1. It is not possible for the user to select where the read aloud begins from. There is no pause after reading headings and list items which can be confusing. There is no option for announcing the alternative text of images. The visual highlight can be turned off. There is a control to 'rewind' the read aloud to listen again.

Summary
Kindle version 7.20 evaluated on an iPhone 11 running iOS 17.5.1. Visual adjustments are supported, including the ability to zoom into images. Furthermore, the spacing and alignment of the text can be adjusted by the user. The user setting can be saved as a theme. A reading ruler adds a colored ruler over the text to help guide reading. The color, opacity, style and size of the ruler can all be adjusted to suit the user's preferences.
